Reading slump?
Hello everyone! Long time, no see.
Anyway, from this title you're probably assuming I'm in a reading slump, which I kind of am, but at the same time I'm not. The thing is, I haven't stopped reading... I'm just not reading very much.
At most I usually get down a chapter every day, which is almost sad because I love reading.
However, I went through a slump in July and August and I kind of am a bit stuck. Doesn't help that I've been watching 2 TV shows that have been taking up a lot of my time.
Basically, this BookLikes blog isn't dead. Far from it actually. I just don't really have anything to post here. However, I am currently reading Insurgent and I'm loving it! According to GoodReads I'm about 35% through it so that's fun!
Hoping to get back into reading soon. Bye!

BookTube-A-Thon in half an hour!! Wheee!
Did not end up finishing Divergent in time, gonna have to add it to my TBR and for me to stay on schedule I have to finish Divergent & Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone by Monday, while also starting Insurgent. Wish me luck, this is going to be difficult for me. But at the same time I'm so excited! Hahaha!
Only 30 more minutes... well, 29 minutes now. Haha!

BookTube-A-Thon Reads.
Yep, I said it. I'll be participating in the booktube-a-thon running from July 15th to July 21st. My plan is to read 10 books in ONE week and complete most of the challenges set for us. I will be starting an 11th book at the end of BookTube-a-Thon just so I can succeed in the daily 300 page challenge.
This is going to be difficult and I am not entirely sure if I will succeed or not, but I am going to give it my best shot.
In preparation for the BookTube-a-Thon I am going to try to start and finish Divergent before Monday, which will be difficult because it is currently 9:13 PM on Saturday night and I will not be pulling an all-nighter because of church tomorrow. So let the fun begin! Yee-haw!

Reading Update: The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson & The Olympians #3)
I am literally about halfway through it, and it's so exciting! Like the previous two books, I am enjoying this brand new adventure involving Percy and his friends. Stuff is happening and it just keeps me wanting to read the next chapter despite me usually having something to do, or it being way past my bedtime.
This is definitely a good read. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Rick Riordan is a genius!

Oops!
Okay, I confess... I completely forgot about this website. Not that I've been very active anywhere else for that matter. I've just been busy being sick and reading books and whatnot.
I honestly do hope to get this thing up and running soon. I've just been really inactive on the internet during the past week and a half or so. So when I get things organized and under control I will definitely post here more. Don't worry! I didn't fall off the face of the earth.

Hey everyone... no one... Really, I just joined. No one is reading this BookLikes blog.
But hello anyway! My name is Linda, and welcome to my BookLikes. I am a 19 year old girl and just in the past year I have found a new love - reading! I honestly love books so much and I can't believe I went through my entire childhood not knowing how awesome they were. Shame on me.
Anyway, on this blog I will be talking about books, reading and whatnot. I will of course be posting my booktube videos here and there will be some photos and stuff. Along with the occasional update, of course.
So yeah, that's all I have for now. Honestly, I am completely exhausted at the moment and all I want to do is sleep, but I have a little while to go until I can do that. Have a great evening everyone! :)
